A little about myself

Hello! My name is Brianna Stuewe. I know, it doesn’t sound like a very Basque or French name but, in all truth, I come from a long line of French Basque on my mother’s side. My grandfather was a French chef and I like to believe that I took after his love of cooking. I love to cook classic recipes with a slight modern twist. I created this blog mainly to share my love for Basque culture and cooking, as well as, to share recipes that I have either altered or created that have some French, Spanish and Basque roots. I like to keep things simple and fresh as much as possible, and I believe that simplicity is what makes food great.
